Carolyn Stringer
Office Administrator, Executive Assistant to CEO
I feel extremely privileged to be working at Luken Holdings. After working for The
Krystal Company for 12 years, I retired and one week later, started as Office Coordinator
and Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Luken Holdings. Our staff of
10 very efficiently manages an estimated 3 million square feet of real estate.
My BS degree in Business has served me well in my various jobs in administration
and management from oil wells to hamburgers to real estate, broadening my knowledge
in each industry. Here at Luken Holdings my day to day duties involve the smooth
flow of operations within the office, as well as editor of the Luken Holdings news
letter.
During my career, I have been fortunate to work for highly visible CEOs who travel
nationwide and abroad, with heavy involvement within the community. My first administrative
job in Chattanooga was with Chattanooga Glass in Alton Park. Working for these CEO's,
has opened many doors to me and lasting friendships in our community have evolved.
My personal motto has always been "whatever it takes to get the job done". I'm certain
success of any assignment is good follow-through to completion of the project, whether
it be an appointment for someone in the office or an important project with a rapidly
approaching deadline to meet.
My family moved several times in earlier years until we decided to call our beautiful
Scenic City our home. After owning Overhead Door Co. for 15 years, my husband Scott
retired and spends many hours in volunteering for non-profits close to his heart.
Our son Myron is a Sr. Trainer with Unum and our son-in-law Rob and 3 grandchildren
live in Alpharetta, GA. We're all huge Auburn fans, so don't even think of yelling
"Go Vols", or "Roll Tide" around us!!
Lynda Childress, President/CEO says Carolyn Stringer is priceless. She is very professional
in everything that she does and we all depend on her to keep things flowing. As
a person, she is a woman of excellence, integrity, consistency, trustworthiness
and dependability. I rely on her daily and would not know what to do without her.
We are blessed to have her working with us and hope to keep her for years to come.
